Hey, what does that mean?

As the the toad hops over muffins, so too does the waffle sing. Yeah that's what I got out of it. I think Kelestri's brains got scrambled. If she thinks I'm gonna give up a magic sword just because it likes to kill orcs, she IS nuts.

Looks like we are on our way. That Baneite almost got me, good thing I hit him with that black arrow. Shades, am I beat up. A bunch of grey dwarves, two moving statues, and a creepy Baneite spellcaster, I think I did alright.

Kelestri sure is happy to have that flame. But how did she get the Heart of Mystra? She took it from Alyona! Thief!

I hope this is finished, but I don't think so.

We must be getting close! We followed tracks in the snow and found a bunch of orcs. My sword can do more than I thought. I shouted the words on it to give the orcs a scare and it went crazy, tearing into them even more savagely than before. Very nice. Mithinu seemed to go berserk, casting spells like I've never seen. I think she hates orcs more than I do.

They started disappearing, we all went after them. The worst it could do is send us back to the lich's place,eh. It was another invisible mountain. I got to the top first. There was a stone chair in an alcove at the top. Hmmm, Shaundakul's Chair maybe? After a few minutes of looking around( and a few trying to throw themselves over the edge), Lief and Evan started staring at a point about ten feet out toward the west. Mithinu jumped off the edge(again!) and disappeared. I thought this must be it and dived over. This had to be the magical lift! Eventually everyone joined us.

The lift took us down into the mountain. Grimmerfang, at last! We started in, and got attacked by ogres! Before we could destroy them, a mind blaster stepped up and said we could just go. Pavel and Kelestri thought that it was the other one's brother. A good deal, either way.

Evan must have got inspired, we seemed to be wrapped in Selune's power for an hour or so. It was sort of like a cocoon of protection. When we came to this black water Evan called on Selune to let us walk on it. It was awesome! That was when the fun ended.

We walked around the bends in the caves and passed two bridges. We entered a huge cavern and as we looked around something big sped towards us.

A DRAGON! A big, black, hissing, roaring dragon. I don't really know what happened, I couldn't hit the thing to save my life. It got me a few times, shades, did that hurt. I got up next to it but it's scales were just to tough. I saw a flash, then a blast of lightning, and then it was over. It sank beneath the water.

Then we saw the treasure. A lot of treasure. Piles and piles of treasure.

We still have work yet to do.

Shades! What are we into?

I thought we were there, disappearing mountain and all, but "NO!" We end up in some creepy graveyard, with a creepier caretaker raking bones like leaves, and undead everywhere. Evan blasted most of the first ones into dust, he said they were whites, although they were kind of greenish. That hit hurt a lot more than it should have, Evan said it took some of my life energy. That must be why I feel cold.

Kelestri started flirting with Mehginty, she must be really desperate(heh heh). She got us into the castle though. I still don't know why, but there we were. We started looking around and something started casting spells at us. Evan called on Selune and made this green cloud of death just disappear. Very cool. Lief and Kelestri were arguing and got smoked with a fireball. Slyl was looting the place. We took off out the back door and Lief said he saw some pale fanged woman behind us. We finally got off this ledge and away from this nasty place. Apparently this is that lich's place and he's not completely dead. Great! we'll probably be back. Weeeee!

I think we were flung a pretty far into the mountains. We walked for a long time. Mithinu cast a spell that turned Kelestri into a cloud, and she floated up for a look around. I don't think having her fall back down was the best plan, she could have died. I just don't get these women.

I think we know where to go. I hope we get there soon.

Sneaky bastard! Kuldermog, hunh? Not much of a king. Turned invisible and followed us, then popped up and scared the crap out of us. Nice speech, I don't believe it. "I just want to work my little forge." Yeah, I'll bet he does! And kill some innocents, and rape some girls, and cook up some tasty children. Kelestri wants to invite him along. Who put her in charge? Go ahead, bring him along, he'll be dead before morning. Nobody gets away with kidnapping and trying to kill one of my friends, nobody. Kuldermog better hope "we" don't invite him to tag along, that's what I think!

Leif is missing. Pavel is whacking people with his staff. After walking all day, I could have used some more rest. I hope Leif is just screwing around.

Shades! Monster prints! Got to find Leif. Who puts a blind guy on watch? Moonchick help me, that's a big camp. Slyl and I are going in, got to be quiet. They've got him in a tent. Seem to be having a meeting. I hear him, he's giving them some crap. What could get them going? I know, "Wizards on the hill!" Look at 'em run. A little darkness in here. Sneak on in, dispel it. An orc back, whoa, a big orc, he's got Leif. Shades! He cut his throat, Leif! LIGHTNING! I hope that was Mithinu. Die! Die you stinking, Leif killing orc!!! Ah, right into him. He's coming after me. Where is Slyl? Come and get it, you monster.

YIPES!!! Fireball! That chick needs to learn some restraint. Not a scratch on me though. The tent is gone, so is the orc. There's Slyl though. Looks like we've got Leif, all right Evan. I am out of here!

Well Sharisa is gone, and we have traveled I don't know how long underground. It hasn't been a total loss though. Nobody had the guts to dive down to get that glowing quiver, just me. That water was cold. I'm glad I had that swimming ring. I still don't know what those weird flying tentacled things were, they die easily though. These five arrows look pretty magical to me. A good days work.

We've gone a long way, it's good to be above ground. Way above ground. In the mountains. I wonder what that building is. It looks like an inn of some kind.

Amazing! It's more than an inn, some kind of temple. A temple to PLEASURE. I could use some fun. Woowho! Here I come naked women. I don't think I've seen this many beautiful women in one place..........................................................................................................What does Pavel want?! He should lay off Leif. This place is some kind of trap is what he's saying. I was just relaxing too. Holy men aren't any fun.

This place is disgusting! The Baneites were here, corpses all over. Some undead ogres, too. I sure am glad we have Evan along.

Slyl is sneaking off again, is he trying to get killed?

Hmmm. darkness. No problem. Shades, who is attacking me, I can't even hit them.......... Great, they're gone. But to where?

There's some big gray winged thing down that hall, shouting about "godslaves". Go, Slyl, take it out. Clerics of Shar, Evan tells them to surrender, they don't. Too bad for them.

It seems Pavel just brought that hot, evil woman from Kurth back to life. I didn't know that was possible. She seems to have turned over a new leaf, crying about how bad she was, how she is a servant of Ilmater now. I guess that's better than the alternative.

All the spellcasters want to rest for a while, time to look around. Hey I got a door open! S-s-s-shades!!! Whew, that was close, I almost got crushed by that collapsed chamber. I am not digging it out.

This is not the most fun I have ever had. First we are attacked by some weird snake creature of Bane. Almost everyone got sick, I tried to flank it and got in some shots. I got a ring from it. Slyl seems to think it would help me to swim better. Very weird magic, if you ask me.

The ceiling in here is a little short, only Mithinu can stand up all the way. She finally came through though, cast a fireball on a swarm of creepy rats. Excellent work!

We entered this tomb that seemed it was from Kelestri's homeland(Apparently it IS her homeland, and we passed through a magic portal. Very cool.). Slyl got attacked by something pretending to be a coffin lid, Evan made a magic mace appear and scared it into letting Slyl go. It had alot of holy symbols and some other treasure, but the best thing we found was Sharisa's journal. We got some good info from that.

Kelestri decided to check out this "dark" room and got attacked by what she called a camel spider. It was big and nasty, but it was no match for The Company.

On the way back out we were ambushed by two ogres and mind blasted by Ithuzach. Well, I wasn't. Sometimes it's good to be the rear guard. One ogre was down and everything else had run away by the time I got through. They must have been desperate to ambush us where the ceiling was half their height. Too bad for them.

Pavel went to talk!?To the mindflayer. Kelestri went too. I don't know what they're thinking, but it seems kind of dangerous to me.

They came back, said that the mindflayer was quitting his alliance with the Baneites(because we were so tough), and Pavel said he saw some Agony on a lift to a lower level. We decided to take a ride down, Slyl disabled a trap and then he ran off to explore.

I shudder to think what we'll find down here. Probably an army of Baneites, demons, and maybe some more brain sucking slimy things. Shades! I really, really HATE these Banefools!

I wanted to run that shrimp through, but we had him good. I hope something eats him.

I still don't know why Mithinu didn't fireball any of those giants. That would have helped out alot. And what was that weirdness with Slyl? I thought he got smushed. Apparently he is faster than he looks.

Shades!! Did Evan just blast away those undead? All he was doing was holding up that silver symbol of Selune. He is really tough, frying the undead, taking on demons. This town is creepy, I hope we leave soon.

I really have a bad feeling about leaving Shadowin right outside this cave. A lot of nasty things think horses are pretty tasty.

Those overblown sneaky thugs! Taking Shadowin and the other horses, and all of our supplies. I will kill them all, starting with that filthy barbarian. They are not adventurers, they are bandits. And murderers!

And this elf girl, who is she? Kelestri and Evan seem to think she is O.K.. Her name is Mithinu and she said she was a warrior and mage. I can't wait for her to throw a ball of fire at some Baneites.

I hope the company will like my coin-in-darkness thing, sort of a calling card for the group.

It was hard for me to make a choice, stay with the group or go home, to my parents, to Amberle. I really wanted to see my parents, to tell them that I was wrong not to believe them. I also felt that I couldn't leave this unfinished, the Baneites must be stopped. My less than impressive performance last night didn't help me make this choice. We encountered the Haldoreeve and his men in the woods near the Keep. Who knew he wasn't who he said he was? The imposter stabbed Animosus, so we all went into action and took them all down. When the Haldoreeve died, he changed form, into the Baneite scum that he was.

It was time to have one of us do that whistling thing, Leif got volunteered, being the bard. He whistled, we hid. I wasn't expecting the fiend that arrived, or the monsters he brought with him. He thought Leif was the guy we had just finished off and spilled all of their plans. Then he summoned up a bearded fiend and a pack of hellish dogs. I was prepared to do battle with them when they started howling. I don't know what came over me, but I was scared, and I ran, and ran.

When I finally regained my wits I went back to the Keep. I found it in chaos, my friends and a horde of townspeople were storming the castle. I tried to join in but I don't think I was very effective. I don't even know who that arrow hit. Everyone was so grateful to "us" that I couldn't stay there and not feel guilty. I hid on the roof of the inn and thought long and hard all night about what I should do next.

Go. Stay. Simple, huh? I thought about the things Evan told me about his goddess. Something seemed right about that. I never was that comfortable praying to Mask. Too dark, too evil. I think I may examine this Selune thing more closely. She certainly seems more like me than Mask. Evan sure seems like a good person, he didn't even get mad at Kelestri when she accused him of being untrustworthy.

I'm going to stay with the group, for now. At least until this is over. They picked my name for the group. I'm shocked, I thought no one liked it. And Animosus is staying here in Kurth. He wants to lead but we are all too hard headed. I gotta do my own thing. We, and I mean "The Company of Light And Darkness", have a lot to do if we are going to stop these maniacs.
